            BOOK WEEK

We have book week to encourage children to read books and to use the library.
During the week we did a Stop Drop and Read every day.  Other teachers came and read to us.
On parade day we all dressed up in our Book Character costumes and paraded around the town.
We thank Becky for organizing it for us

WEIGHT LIFTING-
The goal of weight lifting - The goal of weight lifting is to lift more weight than anybody else.
Judge results - In weight lifting you have to get three white lights to pass if you get two lights you don't pass and you get three retries .
The walk - If you fail to lift the weights you get three retries and if you fail those three you get disqualified.
Super strength - Did you know ? that some weight lifters can lift three times their own weight!.
My goal - My dream goal is to become a professional weight lifter because I'm not very good at it  and its a goal for me to become good.

I nga harirei i haere ahau raua ko Kaha ki te whare o toku Papa.   He had to come and pick us up He lives with My step Mum and step Sister.  We have a Dog named Ford.  He is 5 Years of age.  My step mum is 38 Years of age and her name is Vivian and My step sister is 16 turning 17 soon. It was a very long trip.  I was very tired by the end of the trip and  I could just stay awake. By the time we got to the West Coast it was very dark.   It was a 5-6 hour trip and it takes an hour to get home from Greymouth.  When we got home we all had a hot chocolate and fell fast asleep. The next morning I woke up next to my Dog.   He looked very happy to see us. We had so much to do in a little time  of 2 weeks!.  Some of te stuff  we did was I haere Matou ki te Nelson kawa iti  Raua Ko Taylor ville  Lagoon  Ahau did backflips.   I haere Matou went Camping  and Helping My Papa with the road works.   He's a busy man   Now we hardly get to see him.  That's pretty much it.   But it was really cool to see my Dad.
I hope I get to see Him again sometime.
