Book Week
We have book week to learn lots from books
During the week we read lots of books
On parade day we dress up like characters out of a book
We thank Becky because  she looks after the library.

OLYMPIC EVENT.  ARCHERY                                                
 
In archy they shoot arrows at the middle. The more points you get, the better chance you have of winning.  There are four events; men's and women's and men's team. Women's team. In each team has three archers.                                                
THE COMPETITION.  In the men's and women's rounds they shoot  72 arrows.   They have four  metres to shoot these in sets of   6.   The  person  with  the  highestst  score  is  number  one.  The  lowest  score  is   ranked   number  64.  In  the  team  events   there are twelve teams.  Each shoots two arrows in six sets. The teams with the highest score wins.  The winners of each final win gold the losers in each final win silver.  Semi final losers play eachother. The winners win the bronze.

MAPUA SKATE PARK 

Mapua Skate Park is  a lovely place to be all the time but on a Saturday and Sunday,  it's boy's time. It's time to nut up or shut up.   Some boy's do same crazy stuff.  You've got to see it!!!!!!!!!.

We hold the street race because:
  1. fitness - keep active 
  2. fun
  3. raise money
  4. pick a team for the inter-school race.
Street race. It's  a thing that we do for fun and to get fit and every year we have to do it.
