my self profiles
My favourite sport is rugby touch and tackle.
but I like tacking because I like tackling and
scoring try and making people cry.
Last year I was playing for Huia.
I have been playing for Huia ever since I was five. It has been fun.
My coaches are Heath and Leon. They have been my coach since I was ten.
This year I will be playing for under 11.
We will be play whole field and when I play for under 11. We will be doing t kicks.
I hope one day I will be playing for the All blacks. So now you know a little bit about me.

SASKIA'S AND ROGER'S BOOKWEEK PARADE DAY on PhotoPeach
Parkland school has book week so they encourage kids to read a lot. Our book week was about islands. We had a parade down the street. Thank you Becky for organizing it. ` Matariki The Maori new year. The seven stars shine bright Mata-a-riki. The stars are bright, the moon brings light. Matariki comes at dawn it makes the morn nice and bright. They shine in the sky when everyone is rising to eat their kai. They like to shine when the morning nice and fine.
OLYMPIC EVENT
AthleticsThere are four types of event that are track field combined and road track events.
Track event are sprints relays and long distance
Field events. Field events are jumping as far as you can jump and throwing as far as you can too
High jump. Competitors have a pole and they run and they use it to jump over a pole that is very high and you jump over the pole
Long jump. Long jump is where you take five steps and far as you can.
HOLIDAY RECOUNT
Yay!!! Its the school holiday and that means that I get to go to Christchurch for the hoildays. To get to Christchurch you will have to travel for six and a half hours and that is a long time for me. As soon as we got there dad took me straight to his job. When we got to his job dad said I could help paint. If I help he will pay me ten dollas and that was my holidays.
Kapa Haka fun day
The Kapa haka fun day begins. All of the school came into the hall. As soon as everyone came in we started. There were over 15 schools. This year we had to have the kapahaka spilt into two days because the hall was jam pack. Te Whanau o Pakarana were the host. The whanau class were last. We sang Haere mai nga iwi, Ko koe ra, Manawa Mai, Haka, Poi and last He Honore.

Kapahaka at the turangawaewae festival
On Friday we had the turangawaewae. We performed on the stage and the songs we sang were: Utaina, Haere mai nga iwi, E te kokara ,Anei ra te kura, Hutia te rito. There were lots of people.
THE MOTUEKA SKATE PARK
Agood place to go if you are bored is the skate park. there are lots of thing to do like ride hip, ride speines, ride half pipe. You can have hours of fun and entertainment and for all ages.
OMANGA HUARAHI.
We have our street race because:

- fun
- raise money
- pick a team for Rabbit island
On the day i got raedy to ran.i had to wait for the raedy set go. When that went i ran for a long time i came tenth i was so happy.
